This is a poem I wrote on Dec 24th, 2005, in California
As we drove past the “Tuscan Ridge” golf course,
and the gun range,
Christmas Carrols played on the radio
And filled my soul with hope
that there would be no more commercials
for the mormon Church.
Extremely Cold and Incredibly Delightful
There’s little that’s as pleasant as romping around Manhattan with a new friend. It’s downright giddying, and youthful, and charming. It’s chocolate covered games and making fun, and pushing and shoving, and not feeling anything but alright, like a Nat King Cole Christmas tune; honest and happy.
